Anastasia Nikolaevna Romanova (アナスタシア・ニコラエヴナ・ロマノヴァ, Anasutashia Nikoraevuna Romanova) was the youngest daughter of the last Russian tsar, Nicholas II. The outbreak of revolution in Anastasia's homeland of Russia led to the capture of her parents, her siblings, and the family's four servants by the Bolsheviks, who later murdered all eleven of their captives in Ekaterinburg. Anastasia, maddened by the Romanov massacre, now seeks to bury the world beneath the packed snow with her newfound ability to create supernatural blizzards.

Appearance[]

Anastasia is a busty and slender young woman with pale white skin and drooping eyes.

Background[]

Soon after being shot and stabbed to death by a group of Chekists in Ekaterinburg in 1918, Anastasia appeared in the new world as an Ends.

Personality[]

Anastasia is cold blooded and won't hesitate to follow any orders given to her by the Black King. She is usually calm with a look of apathy upon her face, and does not like to engage in combat despite her skills.

Abilities[]

Anastasia can summon blizzards that freeze and kill her targets instantly.

Relationships[]

Joan of Arc[]

Main article: Joan of Arc

Anastasia and Joan appear to be each other's polar opposites, the former cool and collected and the latter hot-tempered and rash (making them more-or-less rivals). At times this contrast leads to serious disagreements between the two, especially on the subject of the Drifters. She is quick to chide Joan and admonish her for her recklessness as well as her tendency to underestimate enemies. She even showed no sympathy for, or against, the death of Joan's comrade Gilles de Rais. Yet despite their differences and antagonism, Rasputin jokingly expresses that Shimazu Toyohisa's defeat of Joan nevertheless angered Anastasia—a suggestion that the annoyed grand duchess immediately (and angrily) denies.

Grigori Rasputin[]

Main article: Grigori Rasputin

An old acquaintance. They both aim to ensure that the Black King achieves his goal, and in fact Anastasia is almost never seen without Rasputin by her side. She seems to be able to speak her mind freely with him.
