  • You may want to take a look at the addition on Joan of Arc's page, particularly the personality article. Some twerp posted nonsense.

  • I edited Olminu's page a little in regards to personality and her relationship with Oda Nobunaga and was about to do more, but didn't want to step on any toes. Sorry if It seems that I'm barging in.

    • Hi, you are not barging in or stepping on anyone's toes. The community here is quite small and any edit is appreciated, so thanks for helping out.

      Ah, only 1 thing: Please use Ends instead of Offscourings, as Ends is the correct name given by the author.

    • Oh, okay, I didn't know that was what they were really called (I'm reading a translated version that uses Offscourings as their term)

      Alright then, I'll probably poke around and there and see if I can help any. Thanks for hearing me out.

  • I had honestly completely forgotten that his name in the original Japanese is given as 那須資隆与一 when he first introduces himself to Toyohisa instead of 那須与一 until your revert prompted me to look at the Japanese version of Wikipedia's Drifters article and re-downloaded the raws for the first volume again to confirm the fact. (Yes, even though it was right there on the article all this time. Whoops.) And that even Dark Horse Comics had translated his name as "Nasu Suketaka Yoichi" for their official English release until I (finally) rescued my copy from storage just now for further verification. That's my bad for jumping the gun before double-checking. Sorry for the inconvenience, dude! Lyuba (talk) 02:15, February 19, 2014 (UTC)

    • No worries, since anything can be easily fixed, and as long as you didn't started changing it blindly again, there is no problem :>

  • Hi Unok, I don't know if you remember me, I'm JD25, and I'm an admin at Iron Knight Wiki. I would like for us to be affiliated. Here's our wordmark for if you agree. Thanks.

    BTW I just started reading Drifters and I'm liking it. Maybe I'll come by, if I have time, and help out.

    • Hi, yeah of course I remember you. Sure, I will add your banner right away, here is ours.

      Yeah, it's cool manga. You are always welcome if you want to help out.

  • I haven't been back to look at the Drifters Wiki almost since it began, and WOW it's amazing! As the admin of the Hellsing Wiki (our series were created by the same mangaka, you know?), I'd be honored to become an affiliate of you guys. Mostly so that I can learn from you. For example, how can I change the background of my entire wiki? Or get the front page the way you have it, with everything in templates that look like neat boxes?

    • Thanks :> Yes, of course, I will add your banner right away, here is our banner. Since I adopted, I wanted to ask for affiliation between Hellsing and Drifters, but I wanted first to fill up some content before I do that, but then changed jobs and got quite busy.

      You can add a image background from the Theme Designer in the Admin Panel on Customize, Background, Graphic. You have to create large image, preferable over 1700 pixels wide and 800 pixels heigh and depending on whatever you plan on using transparency or not, you can leave the middle ~1000px blank or in one color. When you make the image, you should have in mind what will be seen (usually as I said, the middle 1000px are not seen), so you can place images on both sides. Example image for background - http://drifters.wikia.com/wiki/File:Wiki-Background.jpg If your image exceeds 300kb, but don't want to lower the quality anymore, there is a way to be added through the css. So if you end up like that, tell me and I will tell you the code or you can even see it yourself from the wikia.css on this wiki.

      For the boxes you mentioned. I prefer making those section separate templates in order the main page code to look short and clean, but it doesn't really matter. The boxes are basically made with a div tag which creates borders. So basically you have to add such code before each section (before each heading and then put a closing div after the section ends).

      <div style="border:2px solid #444444; padding:5px; background-color:white; margin-bottom:10px; width=100%">
      and after the section a closing </div> tag

      "border:2px solid #444444" - this defines the thickness of the border and it's color; "padding:5px" - makes everything 5px away from the border, so no text or anything will touch it; "background-color:white" - makes the inside of the border white. Since my main background color is very light brown, making the inside of the border white, creates visible difference between the backgrounds. In case your main text blends with the background (like if it's light and the background is light), you may also need to change the text color with another tag only for the inside of the border.; "margin-bottom:10px;" - this makes 10px space after the border, so if another border or anything starts, it will be 10px under the previous and they won't touch themselves.; "width=100%" - simply makes it to use all of the available width.

      If you need help with anything else, or if you didn't understood something, feel free to ask.
